The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to renew transportation consultant demand professional services on an annual contract beginning Nov. 16 through Nov. 15, 2018 with Hayes, James & Associates Inc., Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., and Precision Planning, Inc. The contract for consulting services totals $1.5 million.

Usage of these services will vary depending upon the number of projects to be completed. Hayes, James & Associates, Inc. and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. held their pricing firm this year. Precision Planning Inc. increased their fees three percent as allowed for in the original contract. Despite the increase, Precision Planning’s prices remain in-line with the other two firms. This is the second of four renewal options.

The contract is funded by multiple funding sources depending on the specified project.
