Lawrenceville has completed delivery of some 7,900 new roll-out style trash carts to its current sanitation customers for curbside collection of solid household waste. The new carts, manufactured locally by Rehrig Pacific, were delivered to each residence and business on the regular trash schedule.

“Sanitation service is provided by the city to both residential and commercial customers,” said Mayor David Still. “The city has made a significant investment in quality trash carts to better serve our sanitation customers, to increase efficiency and safety for our employees, and to improve the appearance of our city.”

“Our Public Works Staff has been working on this project for many months,” said City Manager Chuck Warbington. “We are grateful to the City Council for allocating the funds and looking forward to seeing it come to fruition for our community and for our employees.”

Lawrenceville’s marketing team worked with Consume Media to produce a video documenting the production process with Rehrig Pacific: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvsAnXbjD0c.
