The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to approve an amount not to exceed $469,265 for the Lawrenceville public works access drive project. The project includes the construction of a new asphalt access drive to the public works facility at 435 West Pike St. The contract includes installation of curb and gutters, new storm drainpipe systems, concrete storm drain structures, guard railings, hand railings, and paving.

DAF Concrete, Inc., the lowest of 8 bidders, will perform the work.

The $20 million public works facility opened in Feb. 2018 and is home to the city’s gas, electric, damage prevention, fleet maintenance, streets and sanitation departments.
