The Lawrenceville City Council agreed Monday to adjust language within the newly adopted film policy to allow for the city manager or assistant city manager to approve road closures and overall film permit requests once they have been vetted through necessary departments.

In general, film permits are run through the economic development department before going to the city manager for final approval. Filming is allowed between 7 a.m. and midnight. Road closure requests must be made at least 10 days in advance and routed through the police department for logistical approval.
