The Lawrenceville City Council recently approved an agreement with Atlas Technical Consultants, LLC., formally known as Moreland Altobelli and Associates, Inc., for construction management related to the Stone Mountain Street/Five Forks Trickum Road Pedestrian Safety Project.

The $314,191 agreement covers services related to bidding, construction management, inspection and material testing. When completed, the project will include installation of a traffic signal, storm drain, signage, sidewalk, and curb and gutter.

Total funding approved for completion is $3,718,107. Approval of this item leaves $3,403,916 remaining in the project budget. This pedestrian improvement project is included in Lawrenceville’s plans to spend $7.5 million on infrastructure projects along Stone Mountain Street, the Five Forks Trickum corridor and the next phase of the College Corridor to connect Georgia Gwinnett to the Historic Downtown Square.
