Lawrenceville’s 2017 SPLOST Intergovernmental Agreement with Gwinnett established a portion of the proceeds to be used for joint projects between the cities and the county. The city will pay 19 percent, with the county responsible for the remaining 81 percent. The county will contribute a maximum $4,600,402, with the total project costs estimated to be $6,150,000. The city match is part of the regular 2017 SPLOST proceeds.

The IGA for the 2017 Joint SPLOST includes completion of the 2014 jointly funded sidewalk projects, the Nash Street Connector Roadway Project, the Paper Mil Road Safety and Alignment Project from Springlake Road to McCart Road, and preliminary engineering and right-of-way acquisition for State Route 120/Duluth Highway from State Route 316/University Parkway to Medical Center Boulevard.
