Lawrenceville establishes brewer’s license fee

The Lawrenceville city council voted Monday to amend the General Code of Ordinances to establish the license fee for brewer’s at $2,500 per year.

The amended ordinance defines a wholesaler or wholesale dealer as “any person who sells alcoholic beverages to other wholesale dealers, to retail dealers, or to retail consumption dealers.” For purposes of imposing excise taxes, Lawrenceville defines brewers as wholesalers.
