The Lawrenceville City Council will consider a vote to approve a revised noise ordinance at its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at City Hall, 70 South Clayton Street. If approved, the noise ordinance will affect the use of consumer fireworks within city limits.

The revised ordinance states that in general any noise considered excessive or “unusually loud which disturbs the peace and quiet of any neighborhood or which causes discomfort to any reasonable person of normal sensitivity” will be prohibited.
