The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to approve $94,400 for the demolition of an existing rock headwall and cross-tie retaining wall at 283 Summit Ridge. Work will include reconstruction with reinforced concrete headwall and splash pad with baffles. Lowest bidder Construction 57 Inc. will do the work.

A second culvert replacement project was also approved for the complete demolition of an existing 72-inch corrugated metal pipe including headwalls at Thornbush Trace. Construction crews will replace the old pipe with a 72-inch reinforced concrete pipe with headwalls. Contour Grading and Pipe LLC was the low bidder at $120,065.

Both projects are funded from the city’s Stormwater Capital Outlay Account.
