The Lawrenceville city council approved $86,760 on Nov. 2 to replace existing metal halide fixtures with LED fixtures along Pike and Crogan streets between Perry and Jackson streets. The new fixtures are expected to be longer lasting and provide lower maintenance costs over time.

The city chose to go with the minimally higher bid from Stuart C. Irby of Kennesaw to exactly match the fixtures installed along Luckie Street and The Lawn.
