The Lawrenceville City Council recently approved two new contracts for sidewalk projects in the city.

DAF Concrete, Inc. was the lowest of three bidders and was awarded $78,189 for the Pike and Crogan Street sidewalk addition project. This project will create new sidewalks and a storm drain system and includes site grading, tree removal, erosion control and installation of new streetlights.

The second approved contract for $84,018 also went to DAF Concrete, Inc., the lowest of 3 bidders, for the Clayton Street sidewalk addition project. This project consists of construction of a new granite rubble seat wall and sidewalk on South Clayton Street and includes site grading, tree removal, erosion control, installation of new storm drains and the relocation of streetlights.
