Lawrenceville adds ‘Meet up Spots’ for safe purchase transactions

The Lawrenceville Police Department has joined the list of ‘Meet Up Spots’ to provide a safe-swap option for online purchase exchanges and other reputable and legal transactions between strangers. This new location in the parking lot of Police Headquarter, at 300 Jackson St. is marked with signage for a ‘Meet Up’.

This is public parking place is under video surveillance. The Lawrenceville Police Department would like to remind consumers to always use caution when meeting a stranger to engage in a sales transaction. If something is suspicious, walk away and do not agree to meet them.
