The Georgia Alliance of Latino Elected Officials celebrated the graduation of 30 people on Saturday from its Institute for Leadership.

GALEO implemented the program to develop leaders in the Latino community across the state in partnership with the University of Georgia's Fanning Institute. The new graduates bring the total number of alumni to 371.

The Institute for Leadership will continue the leadership sessions in Fall 2012 in the metro Atlanta area, Gainesville, Savannah and Dalton.
