The Lake Lanier Association is hosting the 24th Annual Shore Sweep from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 29. Volunteers report to a location to pick up trash bags and a shore line area assignment for collection. All volunteers turning in at least one full bag of trash receive a T-shirt.

Advance registration is recommended to help organizers map shoreline coverage.
