Lanes closed as construction continues around diverging diamond

Construction continues on the center median, pedestrian walkways, traffic signals, interchange lighting and pavement markings at the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Interstate 85 this week resulting in additional lane closures.

Expect delays 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday on Jimmy Carter eastbound between Oakbrook Parkway and Goshen Springs Road and between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. on one left lane of I-85 southbound between Exit 101, Indian Trail/Lilburn Road and Exit 96, Pleasantdale Road.

Additional delays will result 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from the closure of two left lanes on I-85 southbound between Exit 101, Indian Trail/Lilburn Road and Exit 96, Pleasantdale Road. Between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. three left lanes will be closed along the same stretch of I-85.
