More overnight lane and ramp closures are planned this week for the reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Two left lanes of westbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody to Roswell roads are scheduled to be closed for bridge construction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Friday, March 1.

Additionally, the southbound Ga. 400 ramp to westbound I-285 will be closed for roadway and bridge construction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Tuesday, Feb. 26, through Friday.

The detour for motorists wishing to go west on I-285 is to continue south to the Glenridge Connector, exit to Glenridge and at the top of the ramp, turn right on Glenridge to the northbound Ga. 400 ramp, and then take Ga. 400 back to I-285.

All work is “weather permitting” and subject to change, GDOT said.
