Lane closures on expressways and local roads, detours and traffic pacing are planned in the coming days for the ongoing reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

All work is “weather permitting” and subject to change, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

These closures are 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

Through Wednesday: Two right lanes of southbound Ga. 400 will be closed from Hammond Drive to I-285.

Monday-Thursday: Southbound Peachtree Dunwoody Road will be closed from Hammond to Lake Hearn drives.

Monday-Friday: The ramp from westbound I-285 to northbound Ga. 400 will be closed.

Also, traffic pacing is planned from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday on eastbound I-285 from Roswell Road to Perimeter Center Parkway; westbound I-285 from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center; and on Perimeter Center from Lake Hearn to Hammond drives. Traffic pacing also may occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily affecting all ramps from I-285 to Ga. 400.
