Lane closure to impact traffic near I-85/I-985 interchange in Buford

Beginning at 9 p.m. Sept. 7, a single continuous lane closure will be in place on Interstate 85 and Interstate 985 until 5 p.m. Sept. 9 that will affect weekend traffic.

This closure is approximately 2 miles long and will close the left northbound lane from Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road (Exit 111) to I-985 (Exit 113) and the left lane of I-985 from the I-85 interchange to Woodward Mill Road in Buford.

This GDOT project will allow for construction of a retaining wall and installation of bridge lighting.
