The Lake Allatoona Association, formed this year to lobby for and support constructive changes to lake and water management, is holding a meet-and-greet Thursday for others concerned about the future of the lake. Board members and members of the nonprofit will meet at the Acworth Fish Camp at 5989 Groovers Landing in Acworth at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting is to informally share ideas, socialize with others of like concern and build relationships, according to Sean Nicholl, one of the members
