The King Center is sponsoring two sumer camps sessions on ending youth violence.

The sessions, "N.O.W. Encounter: Kingian Nonviolence in Action," will be held through Friday and from July 16 through July 20. They will help will help young people apply the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s philosophy of nonviolent social change.

The camps, which will be conducted at the Auburn Avenue center will include field trips to Montgomery and Birmingham, both key sites in the struggle for civil rights. Other activities will include team-building exercises, non-competitive sports, music and celebrity guests. The participants are youth ranging in age from 13 to 18 and is by invitation only.
