Henry County authorities investigated an early morning, one-car crash on I-75 Saturday that left two people dead.

Sheriff’s spokesman Jason Bolton said the vehicle went down an embankment on I-75 north at I-675. A third victim was transported to Atlanta Medical Center.

The accident occurred just before 2 a.m., Bolton said in a release.

“The victims are believed to be from Florida,” the spokesman said. Authorities were trying to find out what caused the accident and locate the next of kin. The victims' identities were not given.
