No students were hurt, but one person was injured in a car accident involving a school bus Monday morning in Milton.

Milton police captain Charles Barstow said a total of three vehicles were involved in the crash. The only person injured was the driver of the vehicle at fault. The driver had minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Milton officials said that all students aboard the bus made it to Hopewell Middle School safely. Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Susan Hale said there were six students aboard and the bus driver was also unharmed.

The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. and temporarily closed the intersection of N. Thompson Road and Little Stone Way. Milton’s volunteer fire department responded to the scene.

Around 9:30 a.m., the intersection reopened.
