After almost an hour of searching over the weekend, DeKalb County police apprehended a Kentucky bank robbery suspect.
Jesse Williams, 27, was found in the area of South Hairston and Big Valley roads, where he was bitten by a K-9, police said on Facebook.
“None of the officers were injured and the suspect was transported to the hospital for evaluation after sustaining a dog bite,” the agency’s post said early Sunday morning, commending Tucker Precinct cops for the arrest. “Once cleared from the hospital, he will be transported to the DeKalb Jail pending extradition back to Lexington.”
Williams was booked Sunday around 8:30 a.m.
According to lex18.com, Lexington's NBC news affiliate, Williams and Ashley Jones, 25, who's already been arrested, are accused of an armed robbery at a Lexington bank on Feb. 27.
