The Kennesaw City Council will meet 6 p.m. Wednesday to discuss steps the city will take to replace its 11-year city manager. The meeting will be at Kennesaw City Hall, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Ave.

The council decided last week not to renew Steve Kennedy’s contract after twice delaying a decision. The city hasn’t been able to appoint an interim manager or look for a replacement because Kennedy’s contract, which included a separation agreement, expired Dec. 31. That agreement is expected to be updated Wednesday.
