More than 1,000 students from Harrison High School in Kennesaw will spend the day on Saturday volunteering at nonprofit organizations throughout Cobb County.

Last year 825 students participated in the annual Community Service Day by writing thank you letters to soldiers and decorating lunch bags for the homeless children at MUST Ministries. This year, students will begin their day at Harrison High School then board buses to go to the various volunteer locations.
