Two staff members from Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education received received state awards this month at the annual Georgia Adult Education Association conference.

The continuing education  Dean Barbara S. Calhoun, who has held the top job for 17 years, received the Exemplary Contribution Service award. Carla Barnes received the Innovative Marketing award for her use of technology in marketing the college.

KSU’s Continuing Education offered more than 2,500 classes and programs to nearly 23,000 students last year.
