Qualifying for three Kennesaw positions on the Nov. 3 ballot will be 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Aug. 31-Sept. 2) in the Training Room, Kennesaw City Hall, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Ave., Kennesaw.

The mayor’s post and two City Council posts are up for election — now held by Mayor Mark Mathews and Councilmembers Tim Killingsworth of Post 2 and Cris Eaton-Welsh of Post 1.

The qualifying fee is $360 for City Council positions and $576 for mayor — based on 3 percent of their base salaries, which is $12,000 for each council member and $19,200 for the mayor.
