Certain parking lots within Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park will be closed temporarily through March 16 while improved by crack sealing the asphalt.

March 14: The Visitor Center Parking Lot will be crack sealed and closed. Visitors wishing to use this parking lot will be directed to the overflow parking lot off Old Highway 41 that is about one-quarter mile from the Visitor Center.

March 15: The Old 41 Parking Lot entrance will be closed until around 9 or 9:30 a.m. while the entrance road section is being crack sealed. Once the entrance is open, the parking lot will be sectioned off while the crack-seal work is underway. Half of the lot will be open for visitor parking during this time; half of the lot will be closed for crack-seal work.

March 16: Half of the Old 41 Parking Lot will be closed during the crack-seal work. The other half of the lot will remain open.
