A $40,000 loan to buy marching band uniforms for Kennesaw Mountain High School was unanimously approved on May 17 by the Cobb County Board of Education.

The loan will be repaid by the school over the next five school years.

Board policy allows no more than $50,000 in repayable loans to Cobb high schools for the purchase of marching band uniforms, Cobb County School District Finance Department’s Chief Financial Officer Brad Johnson told the board members.
