Kennesaw is taking steps to fill the vacant seat of Councilman Bill Thrash, who died May 22 of cancer. Anyone who wants to be considered should submit their name, and a sworn affidavit regarding qualifications. Obtain an affidavit at www.kennesaw-ga.gov/government/city-clerk/elections or by visiting the city clerk’s office. Deadline is 5 pm on Friday.
