The Kennesaw City Council added fees Sept. 18 for use of the Depot Tunnel Amphitheater and for tree removal on historic properties.

Now a $50 security deposit will be charged for use of the amphitheater. Also, Kennesaw residents must pay $30 per hour with a two-hour minimum rental. Nonresidents must pay $50 each hour with a two-hour minimum rental. The maximum number of event attendees is 60.

A $50 fee will be charged to remove trees on historic properties. The other $25 fee will remain in effect to remove trees on residential and commercial properties.
