Big Shanty Festival kicks off April 16, 2016

Food, crafts, art and live entertainment will fill the streets of downtown Kennesaw April 20-21 for the 37th Annual Big Shanty Festival. The festival, which begins with a parade at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, is free to attend and is expected to draw more than 70,000 people. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Streets in downtown Kennesaw will be closed starting at 6 p.m. Friday. Information: 770-423-1330 or www.kennesawbusiness.org
