Kennesaw has approved a 141-townhouse project on close to 20 acres on North Main Street. Construction is expected to start next year on the $38 million Venture Homes development.

The city council has approved three projects in the last year to revitalize Kennesaw’s downtown.

Construction is underway at South Main Street and Watts Drive for a $38 million project with commercial space, apartments and a parking deck. The council in May approved conceptual designs for a $20 million mixed-use project on Dallas Street across from City Hall.
