The Kennesaw City Council voted 5-0 Monday to approve 38 townhomes to be constructed in the Central Business District.
Landmark Communities submitted the proposal for this property on Sardis Street at Main Street.
The concept is for a three-story building of owner-occupied residential townhomes priced in the mid-$200,000s with a mandatory homeowners association. The 38 townhomes will be located on nearly three acres with a density of 13.5 units per acre. Guest parking will consist of 19 spaces.
The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority also recommended approval but with a 10 percent cap on rentals.
