Kennesaw celebrates the 4th of July

The city of Kennesaw is inviting the public to mark our nation’s birthday with its Salute To America celebration.

The pre-Independence Day event, which will include music, food and fireworks, is set for 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 in downtown Kennesaw. Admission to Kennesaw’s event is free.

Attendees can expect vendor booths and pay-to-play inflatables and rides. Food and drinks will be available to purchase, but you can also bring a picnic basket and coolers. Grills are not allowed at the event.

If you’re planning on bringing a few friends, a rectangular table in front of the Depot Stage, which seats six, can be reserved for $75. With the exception of reserved tables near the Depot Stage, all seating will be general admission so residents are encouraged to bring a blanket or comfortable chairs.
