Earlier this year, the city of Riverdale thanked residents who have been active in recycling efforts over the years. It launched a new beautification program, Keep Riverdale Beautiful, and partnered with Republic Services to lead the charge on all city recycling efforts, according to a press release.
As a part of the curbside pickup services, all Riverdale residents have access to a blue recycling bin that is scheduled for pickup weekly at 7 a.m. on Wednesdays.
