A man’s body was pulled from the Chattahoochee River in northwest Atlanta Monday, officials said.

Officer responded to the 2400 block of Marietta Road, Atlanta police said.

An overturned boat was found nearby, and the man had been in the water awhile, Atlanta Fire spokesman Cortez Stafford said.

An investigation is ongoing.
