As far as it may seem, spring is just around the corner. What better way to celebrate than to competitively throw bean bags at wooden boards?

CornholeATL is returning to the Mall of Georgia for a spring cornhole league. The company debuted its first season of league play in Buford this past fall. CornholeATL has leagues in 18 locations around metro Atlanta and one in Athens, partnering with breweries, bars and shopping centers.

The Mall of Georgia spring league will be held at the Village, the shopping center’s central green space where outdoor movies, concerts and other festivities are regularly held. Competition will kick off on March 21, with games held every Thursday for seven weeks.

Teams must have at least two people, or you can join as a “free agent” and be placed on a team. Games will be scheduled at 6:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m. or 8:15 p.m., and registration is $45 for those who register before Feb. 3, $50 for those who register Feb. 4 to Feb. 27 and $55 for those who register Feb. 28 or later.
