Johns Creek city officials have called a “Permitting Summit” for March as they seek feedback from residents, contractors and other interested parties on the city’s permitting process and requirements.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. March 5 at the Municipal Court/Police Department headquarters, 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.

Users’ comments will help the city better understand how the process can or should be improved, officials said. The city requires permits for 22 types of projects, a list that has been in place since Johns Creek’s incorporation in 2006.

Those who cannot attend will be given the opportunity to submit recommendations online after the summit, officials said.
