“Residents with the time, ability and desire to actively participate on this board are asked to please apply online,” the city said. The positions were posted Nov. 25, and the self-nomination process will go until 5 p.m., Dec. 31.

The City Council will review and make recommendations to the mayor, who would nominate the board appointees to be ratified by the council. The process takes 60 to 90 days.
