Johns Creek residents will have opportunities in May to provide feedback on proposed trails that would run alongside Buice and Bell roads.

One trail 8 to 10 feet wide would run along the south side of Buice Road, extending an existing, 10-foot-wide trail from its current terminus at Papillon Trace to Spruill Road. A public input meeting to talk about it is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Park Place at Newtown School, 3125 Old Alabama Road, inside Newtown Park.

The other trail would run along Bell Road from a roundabout, to be created at the entrance of the future Cauley Creek Park, to Rogers Bridge Road. A public meeting set for 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Fire Station 62, 10925 Rogers Circle, will seek comments on both the trail and the roundabout.

“The project aims to improve operations and safety along the Bell and Boles Road Corridor and accommodate traffic into the new park,” according to a city announcement.
