Overnight lane closures are planned this weekend in Johns Creek as crews continue repaving Medlock Bridge Road (Ga. 141).

Weather permitting, crews will conduct “rolling” single lane closures beginning at 8 p.m. Friday and Sunday until 5 a.m. the following morning, the Georgia Department of Transportation said. Crews will be paving turn lanes and crossovers in the left or right lane; as one location is finished, lane closures will roll to the next.

Roadway signs and message boards will be posted to alert drivers of the closures, GDOT said.

The work is part of a milling, inlay and resurfacing project of about 5.5 miles of Medlock Bridge in North Fulton County from the Gwinnett to Forsyth county lines. The project is scheduled to be completed in late February 2020. Information: https://bit.ly/2kcRGRL
