Johns Creek is advising motorists to be alert to a new traffic pattern after it opened its latest “Florida T” intersection at McGinnis Ferry and Sargent roads.

Drivers heading west on McGinnis Ferry can continue through the intersection without stopping. Motorists turning left onto Sargent will have their own turn lane with a signal that will show red, for a full stop; a flashing left turn signal, which means yield to oncoming traffic, or a green arrow giving them the right of way.

“Tuff curb” barriers are temporary until the McGinnis Ferry widening project begins. When completed, the street will have curbs, gutters and landscaped islands.
