The Johns Creek City Council has approved a $190,000 task order with Calyx + Engineers to enter the concept/design phase for the proposed roundabout on Bell Road at the Cauley Creek Park entrance and Old Homestead Trail.

The design also will include an adjacent, 10-foot-wide trial from the intersection to Rogers Bridge Road, according to an agenda report to the council by Assistant Public Works Director Chris Haggard.

“These two projects will be coupled because of their proximity as projects identified in the on-going Bell and Boles Road Operational and Safety Improvements TSPLOST traffic study,” Haggard said.

Bell and Bole roads in northeast Johns Creek are major collector roads that are expected to experience significant growth, Haggard said. Bell/Boles is a budgeted $7 million Tier 1 TSPLOST project. Information: https://bit.ly/2zWaauS
