Johns Creek homes without water service

A water main break has left homes in several north Fulton subdivisions without water service, officials said Monday.

Johns Creek officials said the water main break at 5275 Buice Road has interrupted water service to the following subdivisions:

• Linkwood
• Farmbrook Estates
• Spring Garden
• Lakeview Estates
• Fox Creek
• Clublands
• Winthrop Park
• Forrest Lake
• Kingston Crossing
• Haydens Walk
• Enclave at Farmbrook

Water is expected to be cut off in the area north of Buice Road until at least 7 p.m. while the Fulton County Water Department repairs the pipe.

About 300 homes are believed affected.

One lane of Buice Road is closed from Kingston Crossing subdivision down to Old Alabama Road. Flaggers will direct traffic around the repair site.
