Johns Creek city fathers are calling for citizen input as they develop a parks master plan covering the next 10 years.

The city is mailing 4,000 postcards to randomly selected households this week giving a link and access code to take an online survey. An open access version of the survey is also available at johnscreekga.gov.

Two workshops will also address the topic later this month. The first is set for 10 a.m. May 18 at Johns Creek Fire Station 62, 10925 Rogers Circle. The second will be at 6:30 p.m. same day at Park Place at Newtown Park, 3125 Old Alabama Road.

A city-hired consulting team will then use the feedback in crafting preliminary recommendations, which will be presented at meetings in July.
