The Johns Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the installation of “ExploreBoard” digital kiosks in area hotels where visitors can learn about local restaurants, shops and destinations.

“The kiosks are designed to enhance the visitor experience by promoting local points of interest,” the bureau said. The devices have been placed in the lobbies of the Hyatt Place and Hilton Garden Inn hotels.

Each ExploreBoard describes 50 points of interest around Johns Creek and lets visitors send the information to their phones, the bureau said. Information can be translated from English into five other languages: Mandarin, French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese.
