Johns Creek City Councilman Dan McCabe has announced he will not seek reelection to a third term this November.

Because all of Johns Creek's council seats are at-large, McCabe said he wanted to announce early so candidates can begin organizing their campaigns now. He has been on the Council since the city incorporated in December 2006.

McCabe said he plans to remain involved in the city, but as a keen observer and knowledgeable citizen.

In all, three City Council seats are up for election this fall.
