The Johns Creek City Council has updated its meeting rules, changing the order of business and removing a 30-minute limit on the second public comments period toward the end of the meeting.

According to a resolution recently approved by the council, the “Consent Agenda” and “Reports and Presentations” were moved up in the council agenda so they are now taken up before the first public comments period.

As before, the first comments section is limited to 30 minutes, and each speaker, to three minutes. During the second round of comments, speakers continue to be limited to three minutes apiece, but there is no longer a set time period for all comments.
