Johns Creek officials have announced the completion of their second sidewalk project of the year, along a half-mile of Brumbelow Road improving connectivity from Nesbit Ferry to Old Alabama roads and Newtown Park.

The sidewalk is 10 feet wide, and a pedestrian bridge was added to a narrow, motorist bridge from Mackinac to Stoney Ridge drives, officials said. This improved pedestrian safety at this location.

Johns Creek in August completed the Parsons Road sidewalk project of five, completed sections of walks, closing a gap between Abbotts Bridge and Medlock Bridge roads.

The 5- and 8-foot-wide sidewalk segments are along an elementary school walking route. The project included a lighted crosswalk at Stonegrove Overlook Road and a bridge over a tributary of Johns Creek. Information: https://bit.ly/2tO3Z8N
